The purpose of this demonstration study is to define the desirable characteristics of Canadian projects that demonstrate Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) use in real-world operation, and to determine the appropriate mechanism to collect and disseminate the monitoring data. Additionally, this study defines the desirable characteristics for a “National Aggregator” of demonstration project monitoring data and describes how such an aggregator could be established in Canada.
