Compendium of Best Practices: Sharing Local and State Successes in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy from the United States

This collection of best practices is the result of extensive outreach, data gathering, and analysis conducted to identify leading state and local-level best practices in energy efficiency and renewable energy in the United States. Best practices are arranged into policies, rules, and regulations; financing sources and mechanisms; utilities and transmission; and leading by example. The collection of best practices was assessed for their environmental effectiveness and replicability.
