CLASP is an international non-profit organization that accelerates worldwide implementation of best-in-class appliance energy efficiency policies via technical and market analysis, strategic policy advice, and collaboration. CLASP also serves as the implementing partner for the Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Initiative of the Clean Energy Ministerial. CLASP’s award-winning website provides extensive resources and tools for appliance energy efficiency practitioners, including global, regional, and country-specific research and analysis, best practice guides, and a comprehensive database of appliance standards and labeling policies in 47 countries. These include the Policy Analysis Modeling System (PAMS), an easy-to-use software tool to help local policymakers assess the benefit of standards and labeling programs, and to identify the most attractive targets for appliances and efficiency levels.
