Capacity Building for the Rapid Commercialization of Renewable Energy

This case study highlights China's activities to overcome challenges in capacity, financing, policy, technology, and information with regard to renewable energy commercialization and adoption. The project strategy utilizes a market sector approach, with activities focused on mini-grid technology application areas: biogas, wind, solar water heaters, hybrid village power, and bagasse cogeneration.
