Building Institutions for Climate Policy in India

This paper describes several key themes that play a role in the emergence of climate-related institutions in India and which must be addressed to enhance the design and implementation of climate policy in the country. Drawing from work on the analysis of the evolution of institutions dealing with climate in change in India, the report aims to present key findings and suggestions for the future of climate change institutions in the country.
