This report describes the implementation of the Bioenergy and Food Security (BEFS) analytical framework in Peru. BEFS aimed to strengthen developing countries' technical understanding of how best to mitigate the impact of bioenergy development on food security. The analysis provides an entry point into the issues surrounding bioenergy and food security, and the results arising from the analysis provide strong direction in terms of identifying policy priorities.
