This report summarizes the results of a vehicle testing study designed to: 1) obtain an assessment, based on an experimental study, of the suitability of vehicles in the Australian fleet to operate on E5 (5% ethanol, 95% gasoline) and E10 (10% ethanol, 90% gasoline) ethanol blends; and 2) obtain accurate and reliable information that could be used to inform future policies relating to ethanol blend fuels, including labelling requirements.
