This report describes the key issues, opportunities and synergies for exploring major global development goals, including universal health coverage and universal access to efficient modern energy services. Through the research and findings of this report, the WHO and World Bank aim to support better measurement, monitoring and design of energy interventions that optimizes delivery of health services at all levels, one key component of which is access to reliable electricity.
