Video: Can technology help us prepare for flooding? See how it's working in Indonesia

Jakarta is moving towards building a climate resilient infrastructure using hydrodynamic modeling. The Climate Technology Centre and Network connected technology experts with government agencies to help reduce flooding risks. Based on this collaboration, Jakarta has attracted funds to upscale its efforts.

The Jakarta Research Council, on behalf of the Provincial Government of Jakarta, requested support in building the capacity of stakeholders and decision makers with regard to flood management, as well as to evaluate the best technologies and methods for flood reduction and climate resiliant infrastructure in Jakarta.
