The UN Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) is seeking:

  • Climate Policy Advisor, deadline 21 March 2022

The CTCN is seeking a senior climate policy specialist, with extensive experience in the international climate negotiations process and with climate technology programming, on a short term basis to design and draft its 2023-2027 Programme of Work through an inclusive and participatory process.
The consultancy is home-based, with up to two(2) travels to the CTCN Headquarters.

The ultimate result of services is to develop a forward-looking and responsive five-year Programme of Work that lays out how the CTCN will deliver on its objectives and to guide the operations of the CTCN from 2023-2027. The senior policy specialist will deliver a high-level strategic document that will have a significant impact on CTCN communication, positioning and programming vis-à-vis the Advisory Board, donors, and international partners. This document is of vital importance to the organization.

  • Resource Mobilization Strategy Specialist, deadline 21 March 2022

The CTCN is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to lead consultation on and the design of a robust and comprehensive Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Strategy and Implementation Plan that is responsive to the CTCN’s strategic vision and direction as embodied in the Programme of Work.
The consultancy is home-based, with up to two (2) travels to the CTCN Headquarters

The ultimate result of services is to develop a Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Strategy and associated Implementation Plan so that the existing donor base is maintained, and additional funding is generated through expanding bilateral and multilateral donors, as well from private and philanthropic sources as per indicative targets established in the document.
