Technologies are vital to building climate-resilient, low-carbon societies. Many essential technologies already exist — the challenge is to get them deployed where they are needed, and to build the enabling environments to support technology innovation, adaptation and scale-up. An overwhelming number of developing countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement indicate a requirement for technology support and capacity building in order to achieve their commitments. To meet this need, the CTCN serves as a demand-driven and trusted partner, matching the needs of developing countries for climate change-related equipment, methods, capacity development, and policy advice with the world-class expertise of its Network and our collaborators.

Founded in 2007, kartECO is a specialized environmental and energy engineering consultancy dedicated to delivering high-quality services at both national and international levels. The company has been actively operating since 2007 with VAT number EL 998359389 and is registered in the General Electronic Commercial Registry (G.EMI.) Agency database of Greece, under the G.E.MI. number 124131704000.
kartECO consists of qualified engineers, environmentalists and foresters with diversified experience and background specialized on public and private work studies as well as research and development co-funded activities and initiatives.

The company is divided in six (6) departments according to the sector of interest: Environment, Energy, Construction, Cadastral Surveys & Mapping, Environmental IT tools and Green roofs (BAUDER’s distributor in Greece).
Within research and innovation programs, kartECO’s team is collaborating on a permanent level with national higher education institutes, public and private research organizations, NGOs, other SMEs and enterprises and external freelance experts.
