Many essential technologies already exist — the challenge is to get them deployed where they are needed, and to build the enabling environments to support technology innovation, adaptation and scale-up. An overwhelming number of developing countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement indicate a requirement for technology support and capacity building in order to achieve their commitments. GreenLAC is a network of international consultants with more than 20 years of experience and more than 120 consultancies performed in Latin America and the Caribbean. It was founded by a group of consultants specializing in green finance, clean energy and environment. Initially, the services were concentrated in the Central American region, where founders had experience managing a venture capital fund for environmental companies, with investment partners such as the IDB and European cooperation agencies. Today, with the experience of having worked from Mexico to Argentina, as well as in most countries of the Caribbean and the United States, GreenLAC offers a highly qualified group of affiliated professionals, experts in different disciplines, with solutions tailored to the needs of clients.
