The development objective of the Climate Technology Needs Assessment Project is to support China's efforts to assess climate mitigation and adaptation technology needs and to adopt corresponding global best practices. There are five components to the project. The first component of the project is methodology development, technical oversight, synthesis and dissemination. The second component of the project is technology assessments at the sector and provincial levels. The third component of the project is capacity building to support climate technology networks.
