Water management systems in Asia are vulnerable to climate change and urbanization. Thus, water management systems should be considered to enhance water security, urban flood control, improvement of the thermal environment, reduction of energy consumption and production of energy using potential heat energy of water resources. This paper emphasizes Eco-Efficient Water management Infrastructure (EEWI), whose goal is to achieve the smart "watergy city" which includes water, energy and ecology.
