Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI] is a public sector, research and academic institution specialized in electrical engineering and  established in 1976 with the mission to play a central role in the advancement of scientific technology and industrial development in Korea by leading R&Ds and testing in the electric power, electricity and electric utility fields.

Important research achievements related to climate technology include Plasma-Treated Albaca fiber reinforced composites for industrial application.

Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) was established in 1959.

National  Fusion Research Institute (NFRI) is a national institute dedicated to conduct research and development of fusion energy, which has been attracting worldwide attention as an inexhaustible source of future energy. Employing domestic technologies, NFRI has constructed a high-ranking fusion  research device called KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advance Research).

KEPCO was founded by the Korea Electric Power Corporation Act with the purpose of developing energy, stability of power demand and supply and contribution to the development of the national economy.

Changes in the agriculture sector are essential to mitigate and adapt to climate change, ensure food security for the growing population, and improve the livelihoods of poor smallholder producers. What agricultural strategies are needed to meet these challenges? To what extent are there synergies among these strategies? This paper examines these issues for smallholder producers in Kenya. Several practices emerge as triple wins in terms of climate adaptation, GHG mitigation, and productivity and profitability.

In the intergovernmental climate negotiations India has consistently argued against greenhouse gas mitigation commitments for developing countries. This short paper argues that while India’s position, given the burden sharing architecture of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Kyoto Protocol, is legitimate, it is not a sagacious position to hold. The author argues that it is of critical importance that climate change concerns are mainstreamed into development planning, and concrete actions are taken to transition to a low carbon development pathway.

The report has been published by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) to estimate the Green House Gases (GHG"s) emissions in Indian agricultural sector. The methodology was based on IMPACT model of IFPRI and standard accounting method of Inter-government Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for the estimations of emissions for 2000-2050. And it suggests cost-effective mitigation options through irrigation management techniques and energy consumption for increasing agricultural productivity and resilience to climate change.
