    The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) together with the Radboud University (the Netherlands) organized a summer school on the climate action for sustainable development. There were 28 participants from 23 different countries of which CTCN is sponsoring 15 participants from the Least Developed Countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Chad, Djibouti, Guinea, Malawi, Myanmar, Mozambique, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia).

    Adaptation Futures is the biennial conference of the Global Programme of Research on Climate Change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation (PROVIA). In 2016 the European Commission and the Government of the Netherlands co-host the fourth edition. Adaptation Futures 2016 is where scholars, practitioners, policymakers and business people from all around the world go to connect, learn and inspire. It highlights adaptation practices and solutions for people, governments and businesses.

    The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) and the EU-funded CARISMA project on innovation for climate change mitigation jointly organise a summer school course on climate change mitigation. The course is taking place from 14 through 18 August 2017 as part of the Radboud Summer School programme in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. The course is targeted at post-graduates, PhD students or junior professionals in public service working on the topic of climate change mitigation.

    The objective of the course is to raise awareness about the key dimensions that need to be addressed in developing sustainable energy solutions. The course will provide insights into energy systems modeling, best practices in energy policymaking, best available technologies and financing schemes. The training will take place in Groningen, the Netherlands, 15 - 23 November.
