In the absence of specific guidelines from the UNFCCC on how to develop NAMAs, implementing organizations, donors, and host countries have been formulating NAMAs in a trial-and-error basis. The Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), as part of its technical assistance in Guinea, organized an event on mobilizing financial resources for deploying adaptation technologies. The event gathered donors and five teams with different project ideas selected by the CTCN Network member Group for the Environment, Renewable Energy and Solidarity (GERES). The teams had the occasion to liaise directly with bilateral donors and present different concepts.
