The new MTZ shaft sealing technology has been introduced by Tamar Technologies This product is especially effective in sealing pumpage with particulates as well as for clear liquids It has application for pumps mixers agitators ribbon blenders and fans in addition to sealing shafts for dry powder handling. The Tamar Seal is analogous to a double mechanical seal that uses a flexible sealant as a barrier fluid.

EURAC Research is a private non-profit research centre established in 1992 in Italy. With over 400 staff members, its activities include local and international projects in cooperation with industry, government authorities and research institutes. Its focus area includes climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk and disaster management, sustainable use of natural resources, soil, water and forests, energy efficiency, sustainable development with a specific focus on agriculture, tourism and transports.
Numerous developing and emerging countries have ambitious plans for the development of renewable generation. Other countries show interest in renewable generation but corresponding plans are pending due to concerns relating to the consequences of fluctuating electricity generation. In both cases, the impact of renewable generation on system reliability and system security needs to be analysed in order to assess related risks and to propose mitigation measures for ensuring a secure and reliability power system operation in the presence of large penetration of renewable generation.
Countries pledge over $23 million to support technology transfer in developing countries through the CTCN
The Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning is contributing one billion South Korean won to support technology transfer initiatives of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN). The Centre is a key institution in helping nations to implement their climate change commitments under the Paris Agreement.
