During the trading section the presenter examines Green Initiative for MIPYMES by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration in order to contribute to the promotion of environmental investments in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Initiative has resources for project funding that be used for: Energy Audits Energy Efficiency projects; Technical Feasibility Study, Final Design and Environmental Impact Studies for Renewable Energy Projects.

This report analyses different topics related to the energy sector of the LA&C region, such as: : the global economic - energetic outlook; the supply and demand of energy in the region; institutional regional aspects; the electricity and hydrocarbon sector; renewable energies and environment; energy efficiency, energy access; innovation and technological development; and regional integration.

The course taught through the virtual technological communication platform of OLADE is intended to teach about procedures and strategies to achieve an efficient and optimal management of the energy sources, which may be used in several industries and energy consumption processes. Ramon Rosas, a Mexican national with vast experience in the field, is responsible for the academic content of the course.
