This session will focus on emerging tools for improved management of floods and droughts. Presenters from World Meteorological Organization/Global Water Partnership and DHI will present a number of examples – from collaborative efforts on moving towards an integrated approach to drought management, to specific technical tools for floods and droughts decision support, and innovative technologies for targeted floods and droughts insurance.
