Knowledge Partners

Knowledge partners support CTCN’s mandate to foster collaboration and access to information and knowledge in order to accelerate climate technology transfer. Through its knowledge partner network, the CTCN generates, manages and shares knowledge, experience and good practices at the national, regional and global level, taking into account traditional knowledge and practices. Knowledge partners include Consortium partners, Network members, UN agencies, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, private sector and other reliable sources of climate technology information.

    Acclimatise has been engaged in the delivery of climate risk management since its inception in 2004, advising private and public sector clients in developed and developing countries, on how to make their policies, projects, investments and assets resilient to climate change risks today and into the future. Acclimatise has been active in assessing and supporting climate services development and increasing capacity to use technologies to build resilience, particularly in developing countries.

    The Advanced Energy Centre (AEC) is a public-private partnership with the mission of fostering the adoption of innovative energy technologies in Canada, and leveraging those successes and experiences into international markets. The Centre is a part of MaRS Discovery District, a Canadian registered charity that operates as on of the world's largest urban innovation hubs. The AEC identifies and removes systemic barriers to the adoption of energy innovation, working with stakeholders in the energy sector to help bring innovative technologies to global markets.

Its solutions have been tested at commercial scale in a variety of climate conditions for a broad range of crops. Blacksoil's services ensure stronger root and drought resilient plant development and hence support increased food safety and security as well as climate-resilient and ecosystem-efficient sowing.
